Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians
Provide education and support to patients and families
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and OBIX systems

Qualifications

Active Alaska state RN license required
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg experience with strong critical thinking skills
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to float to other units as needed (N/A here, but good to be flexible)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations
Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
