Location: Bakersfield, CA

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment
Maintain accurate patient records in Radnet and Merge Unity
Float to Mercy Southwest (approx. 6.5 miles away) as needed
Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes
Collaborate with lead tech and radiologists to ensure quality imaging

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Current BLS certification required
ARRT certification required
Ability to float to nearby facility
Teal scrubs required (not provided)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Radnet and Merge Unity PACS
Experience with GE and Toshiba scanners
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
Excellent patient care and communication skills
