Location: Redding, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; days, evenings, or nights; call and weekend requirements discussed during interview

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and X-ray procedures on both inpatient and outpatient populations
Operate Philips ipatient 64 and big bore 16 CT scanners with precision
Assist in the OR with C-arm imaging for surgical cases
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging exams
Maintain accurate patient records in Cerner EMR system
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of CT experience (first-time travelers welcome with experience)
Active ARRT certification and valid California Fluoroscopy permit
Current BLS certification required
Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume radiology department

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR and Philips CT equipment
Experienced in performing CT scans, X-rays, and fluoroscopy
Comfortable working in OR, ER, and outpatient settings
Self-starter with ability to hit the ground running
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
