Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Manage ventilators, monitor telemetry, and respond to emergencies
Perform and assist with procedures like central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and RTs in a team-based environment
Educate and support families during their NICU journey
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent NICU experience, preferably in a Level 4 unit
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, NRP, and Cardiac STABLE certifications required
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Expert in sterile technique for central line and Foley care
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for high-acuity neonates
Ability to float to Mother-Baby and Labor & Delivery as needed
Comfortable with Phillips telemetry and ventilator management
