Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 30-minute lunch

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients with orthopedic, vestibular, neurological, and balance disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapist assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapy license required
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
Ability to treat an average of 9-11 patients per day

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, total joint replacement, vestibular rehabilitation, neuro, and balance
Proficiency with Cerner EMR or similar electronic medical records system
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
