Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM equipment
Administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed and ensure accurate dosing
Position patients and provide clear instructions to obtain high-quality images
Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout the procedure
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Operate and perform quality control on imaging equipment daily

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
PET experience required
Valid driver's license required (used to verify 50-mile radius rule)
DOT certification preferred but can be obtained within 90 days of contract start
Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (CNMT or ARRT(N)) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging, including PET/CT and planar scans
Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their safe handling
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
Familiarity with Siemens equipment is a plus but training provided
