Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics cases
Maintain sterile fields and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with charge nurses and managers to deliver exceptional patient care
Support trauma cases with quick response times and expert technique

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
Trauma experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to handle 30-40 cases per day across multiple specialties
Comfortable with robotics and trauma procedures
Quick response time for call (20 minutes for trauma, 30 minutes for non-trauma)
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced 11-suite OR environment
