Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after a shift every week and weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms with precision and care for a wide variety of surgical procedures
Assist surgeons during complex cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, eyes, and ENT
Ensure sterile technique and patient safety throughout every procedure
Collaborate with a skilled surgical team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Handle specialized equipment like DaVinci robots, stealth navigation, and O-arm imaging
Support emergency pediatric cases when the need arises

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ortho ORIFs, total joints, and fracture repairs
Experience with neuro cases including craniotomies, ACDFs, and shunts
Robotics experience with DaVinci systems
Comfortable with GYN, eyes, ENT, and general surgery cases
Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
