Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin with precision
Support families through the beautiful journey of childbirth and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with providers during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries
Float to medical-surgical and emergency departments when needed to lend a helping hand
Educate new parents on newborn care and postpartum wellness

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum Care, and LDRP protocols
Experience with fetal monitoring systems like OB Trace Vue
Skilled in neonatal respiratory support including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly in a smaller facility with limited resources
