Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Maintain strict sterile field protocols during all procedures and assessments
Educate patients and families on recovery plans following neurosurgical interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro/telemetry experience within the last 6 months
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and sterile technique assessment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
Neuro post-op care including post-crani and spine patients
Stroke care experience with post-TPA protocols
Comfort working in a 28-bed neuro unit with 1:3-4 ratios
