Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring safety and comfort
• Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor fetal heart rates using intermediate or advanced techniques
• Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OB team and anesthesia providers for seamless care
• Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use concerns
• Float within the Birthing Center to postpartum and mother-baby units as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience preferred; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• Experience with fetal heart monitoring (intermediate or advanced preferred)
• Ability to titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing with ability to manage high-risk pregnancies
• Fetal heart monitoring and strip interpretation
• Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• C-section circulation and newborn transition support
• Centricity Perinatal EFM system experience
• Strong communication and adaptability to unit workflows
