Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform advanced hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float within similar care levels to support your fellow nurses and ensure excellent patient outcomes
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification required
Comfortable with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (training available)
Valid driver's license to confirm travel eligibility outside the 50-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
Experience with EPIC charting and Alaris IV pumps
Ability to titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem when needed
Willingness to embrace cultural diversity and treat every patient with respect
