Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch, self-scheduling within manager-balanced 4-week blocks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and post-surgical patients
Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support facility needs
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care on a 48-bed MedSurg/Tele unit with 1:5 ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some experience with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Cerner electronic medical record system
BLS and ACLS protocols
Care of medical-surgical and telemetry patients
