Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
Triage patients and confidently step into the role of baby catcher and transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe and effective labor progression
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team where every nurse makes a meaningful impact
Support occasional floating to med-surg when the unit needs an extra hand

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
Comfortable triaging patients and functioning independently as the delivery nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for both laboring patients and newborns
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Experience with OBIX EFM system preferred
Flexible and adaptable in a rural hospital setting
