Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
Monitor and manage antepartum and triage patients with attention to detail
Administer medications including Pitocin, Insulin, fluids, and antibiotics safely
Collaborate with the charge nurse and team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Support newborn care and education for new families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Comfortable with 1:2 patient ratios in a 4-bed unit
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float and task in MedSurg when needed
Knowledge of common LDRP diagnoses and drips
