Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend shifts required with a weekday off in exchange

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on physical therapy to patients across med-surg, telemetry, ICU, oncology, and cardiology units
Provide specialized care for ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac and orthopedic surgeries
Collaborate with rehab techs and the interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans
Support patients through total joint replacements and acute care recovery journeys
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Comfortable working with ventilated patients and in ICU settings
Strong background in ortho, total joints, med-surg, oncology, and cardiology populations

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Cerner EMR documentation
Ventilator patient management
Orthopedic and cardiac surgery recovery protocols
Collaborative care with ICU and med-surg teams
