Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to ensure patient stability
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators to deliver holistic care
Float within similar care levels to support unit needs while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives to create a supportive healing environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy administration certification required
First-time travelers welcome with strong clinical foundation

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology care expertise
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
ICP monitoring and titration of insulin and cardizem drips
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Strong teamwork, adaptability, and genuine patient-centered approach
