Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and newborns in our LDRP unit
• Monitor and titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
• Support families through the entire birth experience with compassion and expertise
• Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with the care team to manage high-acuity patients including those with diabetes and substance use disorders
• Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support system-wide patient care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
• LDRP experience essential for success in this role
• Comfortable with self-scheduling and rotating weekend/holiday coverage
• Willingness to participate in call rotation based on unit census

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
• Experience with high BMI and diabetic patient populations
• Proficiency in titrating Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 drips
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, dedicated team
• Flexibility to float within the Zone 1 network when census allows
