Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions using ventilator and hemodynamic skills
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients from diagnosis through remission or peaceful transitions
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units as needed while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification required
Open to first-time travelers
Valid driver's license required at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration
Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
ICP monitoring
Titration of insulin and cardizem drips
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Alaris IV pump familiarity
