Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a 26-bed Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro unit
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing care
Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and PCTs to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Support patients recovering from neuro events, CVAs, and pulmonary conditions
Administer high-flow oxygen therapies and manage complex telemetry patients
Mentor new staff during floor-specific orientation and contribute to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Successful completion of Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts maximum)
EKG interpretation proficiency essential

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and centralized EKG interpretation
Neuro and cardiopulmonary patient care expertise
High-flow oxygen and Airvo management
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams
