Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts with varied start times; call rotation required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
Set up and operate advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci XI robot
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in on-call coverage for emergency and weekend cases

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred for RNs)
Valid Washington state license as a Surgical Technologist
Minimum 1-2 years of CVOR experience required
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
COVID-19 vaccine required (exemptions considered per policy)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in surgical assisting techniques for cardiac and vascular cases
Knowledge of sterile field management and infection control
Experienced with robotic surgery systems (Da Vinci XI preferred)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
