Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with CVOR and cath lab staff to ensure seamless patient care during procedures
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes to support life-saving interventions
Float to Main OR when needed and support vascular cases with your specialized skills

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
Current BLS certification
Robotics experience preferred but not required - training provided
Scrub experience preferred for RNs but not mandatory
Ability to work varied shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Ability to work collaboratively in high-acuity cardiac and vascular cases
Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and quick response times
Willingness to learn robotics and support advanced minimally invasive procedures
