Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with cath lab staff during hybrid cases and provide standby support for vascular emergencies
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage for urgent cardiac cases
Float to Main OR when needed and support a variety of surgical specialties

Qualifications

Active Washington state license as a Surgical Technologist
Current BLS certification
Robotics experience preferred but not required - training available
Previous CVOR or cardiac surgery experience welcomed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to respond to 30-minute call requirements
Willingness to learn robotic systems including the da Vinci XI
