Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduled shifts, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with call requirements one weekday per month and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of cardiovascular surgeries including open heart, vascular, thoracic, and endovascular procedures
Prepare and maintain the operating room, sterile field, and surgical instruments
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Float to general OR as needed to support team coverage

Qualifications

Current Colorado DORA certification required
BLS certification required
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
Experience in open heart and endovascular procedures required
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
Skills in open heart, vascular, endovascular, robotic, and ortho surgeries
Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and equipment
