Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with self-scheduling and block scheduling options

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
Assist surgeons during open heart and vascular surgeries with precision and care
Maintain sterile technique while supporting a variety of specialty cases including robotics and neuro
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow across 16 operating suites
Float to general OR when needed to support the broader surgical services team

Qualifications

Current CST certification required
BLS certification required
Colorado DORA license required
Open heart and endovascular experience strongly preferred
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
Experience with robotics, ortho, spine, and general surgery cases
Excellent sterile technique and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
