Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and equipment for surgeries and procedures
Inspect and assemble surgical instrument trays following strict protocols
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and washers
Manage inventory of sterile supplies and ensure proper storage
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile items
Document all sterilization processes and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or HSPA)
At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or surgical setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterilization techniques and standards (AAMI, OSHA)
Ability to operate and troubleshoot sterilization equipment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with surgical instruments and tray assembly
