Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert speech therapy services across both acute care and inpatient rehab units
Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and support patients on their recovery journey
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center
Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population with varied needs
Document efficiently using Meditech while making a real difference every day

Qualifications

Active Missouri SLP license required
Minimum 2 years of speech therapy experience
Comfortable working in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Speech Therapy across acute and rehab populations
Bedside swallow evaluations
TIMS equipment familiarity
Meditech documentation system
Adaptability to floating between units
