Location: Richmond, Virginia

Start Date: 01-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Conduct evaluations and treatments for swallowing and language disorders.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient-centered care plans.
Use advanced diagnostic tools like VitalStim, MBSS, and FEES.
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech Expanse.

Qualifications

Active SLP license in Virginia.
Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation.
Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment.
Competence in swallowing and language procedures.
BLS certification preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Hospital and Inpatient Rehab experience
Stroke evaluation and treatment
Swallowing and Language procedures
Familiarity with VitalStim, AmpCare, MBSS, FEES
Meditech Expanse documentation
