Location: Kansas City, MO

Start Date: 02-16-2026

End Date: 05-18-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate speech-language pathology services to a diverse patient population in acute care and inpatient rehab settings
Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and video swallow studies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress using Meditech
Flexibility to cover both acute and rehab caseloads

Qualifications

Active Missouri state license in Speech-Language Pathology
Minimum 1 year of experience
BLS certification (preferred)
Experience with Meditech and TIMS

Knowledge & Skills

Bedside swallow evaluations
Video swallow studies
Acute care and inpatient rehab experience
Knowledge of TIMS equipment
Proficiency in Meditech documentation
