Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 1-2 nights of call per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound studies including OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, and vascular exams
Conduct specialized studies such as carotid arteries, DVT, renal arteries, and ultrasound-guided biopsies
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
Rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings as needed to support department needs
Maintain accurate documentation using McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
ARDMS certification required
RVT certification preferred
Vascular experience is a plus
Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with GE L8 and L9 ultrasound equipment
Experience with McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems
Strong skills in OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, and vascular imaging
Comfortable performing 10 scans per day on average
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
