Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a combined LDRP/Mother Baby unit
• Independently manage labor and delivery, including attending deliveries and circulating during c-sections
• Titrate critical drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to ensure safe outcomes
• Transition newborns and provide postpartum care for both mom and baby
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers available 24/7
• Adapt to unit workflows and policies while maintaining high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required - we welcome experienced travelers!
• Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in c-sections
• Active RN license in Washington or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Preferred: Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• EPIC experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in labor support, delivery, and postpartum care
• Proficient in fetal monitoring (Centricity Perinatal) and EPIC EMR
• Ability to function in both L&D and Mother Baby/Postpartum settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and open to feedback in a fast-paced environment
