Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Monitor and manage complex cardiac patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Administer medications and titrate IV drips per protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery
Respond to emergencies and code situations with confidence and skill

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or ICU experience
Current and unrestricted RN license in Texas or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
CCRN certification preferred but not required
Telemetry and ventilator management experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics
Experience with arterial lines, central lines, and ventilator management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
