Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with some weekend and weekday on-call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations that directly impact patient outcomes
Support complex procedures including Impella, balloon-pump, and peripheral cases
Collaborate with a skilled team of 10-11 staff members in a high-volume cath lab environment
Monitor patients and equipment using GE X-ray and MacLab systems
Document care accurately in Meditech EMR while maintaining professional standards

Qualifications

Active RN, RCIS, or RT license required
Minimum 2 years of experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
Preferred experience in high-volume labs handling complex cases
Ability to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes for call-back
Easy-going, kind, and friendly personality that thrives in fast-paced environments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures
Familiarity with GE X-ray and MacLab equipment
Proficiency with Meditech EMR documentation
Ability to work effectively with 3 staff per procedure room
Comfortable managing diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral cases
