Shift Type: Rotating schedule, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient care to individuals with behavioral health needs
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop care plans
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic treatment
Educate patients and families on mental health management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent behavioral health nursing experience
BLS certification required
ACLS preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatments
Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Patient assessment and care planning
Medication administration and monitoring
Therapeutic communication and patient advocacy
Team collaboration and adaptability
