Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver life-saving respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across the facility
Manage ventilators and provide BIPAP/CPAP support using Hamilton and Vapotherm equipment
Perform ABGs and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning
Assist physicians with intubations and collaborate closely with the care team
Respond to emergencies in ER, inpatient units, and other clinical areas as needed

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Active Kansas Respiratory Therapist license
At least 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working with adults, pediatrics, and neonates

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
ABG interpretation and EKG performance
Hamilton ventilator and Vapotherm equipment experience
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently as the sole RT on shift
