Location: Tallahassee, FL

End Date: 04-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional respiratory care including aerosol treatments, Bipap and ventilator management
Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during daily rounds to optimize patient outcomes
Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, and Phillips V60+
Rotate through all inpatient units including two 10-bed ICUs, working at the top of your license

Qualifications

Must hold an active RRT credential
Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
Experience in critical care and emergency care settings

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ventilator management, Bipap, and aerosol treatments
Experience with Meditech documentation system
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and patient interaction skills using AIDET
