Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia

Start Date: 10-06-2026

End Date: 01-05-2027

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU and adult units
Administer CPAP, Bubble CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula therapy
Assist with intubations and manage mechanical ventilation
Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Document care accurately in Meditech

Qualifications

Must have 2 years of general Respiratory Therapy experience
Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP preferred (can obtain after hire)
Experience in NICU is a must

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with CPAP, Bubble CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula
Skilled in intubation assistance and mechanical ventilation
Experience with Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 ventilators
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
