Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the care team on total joint replacement recovery and stroke/TIA support
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support excellent patient outcomes
Document assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner
Work alongside dedicated CNAs, RTs, and leadership to deliver top-notch care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry monitoring and basic dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Some experience with CVA/TIA and total joint replacement patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time

Knowledge & Skills

Reading and signing basic tele strips each shift
Managing set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
Strong teamwork and adaptability when floating between units
