Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to orthopedic surgery patients, including pre- and post-operative support
Manage IV starts, Foley/straight catheterization, and CPM application
Facilitate early mobilization and patient education for recovery
Collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve great patient outcomes
Monitor and assess patients, ensuring quality and safety standards

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ortho RN in an acute care hospital
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS and Meditech experience preferred
Positive attitude and team player mentality

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic nursing expertise
IV insertion and catheterization
CPM machine operation
Early mobilization techniques
Meditech EMR proficiency
