Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro and cardiopulmonary telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs with confidence using centralized telemetry
Collaborate with hospitalists and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Manage high-flow oxygen therapies including Airvo systems
Support patients through CVAs, pulmonary conditions, and general telemetry needs
Mentor and guide PCTs while maintaining excellent nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts maximum)
Successful completion of Sim Lab on day one of orientation

Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Neuro and cardiopulmonary patient care
High-flow oxygen and Airvo management
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
