Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to neuro patients in a 32-bed Level 1 Trauma ICU
Perform advanced neuro assessments and ICP monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage ventilators and complex neurological cases including brain tumor removals and spine surgeries
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the world-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units while maintaining exceptional care standards
Mentor new team members and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a large 450+ bed facility
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring skills
EVD experience required
3-6 months travel experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced neurological assessment techniques
ICP monitoring and EVD management
Ventilator management and critical care interventions
Cerner electronic medical records
Level 1 Trauma protocols and procedures
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
