Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Manage a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity while monitoring cardiac drips such as Heparin
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient handoffs
Respond to low-census call needs and support sister facilities when staffing gaps arise

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
Prior Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to varying unit needs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills across adult-geriatric populations
Comfort with cardiac monitoring, neuro checks, and post-surgical care
Flexibility to pivot between ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele assignments
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced float environment
