Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele and specialty units
Titrate Heparin drips safely while monitoring patient response
Float throughout the 60-mile zone to support Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units as needed
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Respond to changing patient needs and acuity levels with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various units and schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Comfort with floating between General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Experience with Heparin titration and managing drips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work weekends (6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule) and occasional holidays
