Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients with skill and professionalism
• Assess patient condition and respond with timely interventions and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in line with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge instructions, and self-care
• Monitor and report changes in patient status to ensure optimal outcomes
• Contribute to a culture of safety by following infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with demonstrated Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current and active RN license (state licensure requirements apply)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications encouraged
• Comfortable with medication administration, patient assessment, and electronic charting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency in patient assessment, wound care, and IV medication administration
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient, family, and team interactions
