Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients
Manage a typical 6:1 patient ratio while collaborating with PCTs and unit secretaries
Float to inpatient units, CCU, and ED as needed to support team success
Document accurately using Meditech electronic health record system
Perform bedside procedures alongside physicians when required
Uphold a positive attitude and strong teamwork to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kentucky or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience preferred
Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
Ability to manage patient loads and provide patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical skills for medical-surgical patients
Comfortable floating to multiple inpatient units
Proficient with Meditech documentation system
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs
