Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (every other) and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse overseeing daily operations of the LTC unit
Administer medications safely and accurately to residents
Provide skilled wound care assessments and treatments
Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the DON
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team including PT and social services
Ensure compliance with state and federal LTC regulations

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum 1 year of recent Long Term Care experience
Experience with medication administration and wound care
Ability to function as charge nurse and lead a team

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Wound care and basic dressing changes
Charge nurse responsibilities and delegation
Knowledge of LTC regulations and survey readiness
Proficiency with Matrix EMR
