Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Triage patients and manage Pitocin drips with confidence and precision
Serve as the primary baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to ensure safe outcomes for moms and babies
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with warmth and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Comfortable functioning independently in a rural hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Experience with Pitocin titration
Ability to work as both charge nurse and staff nurse when needed
Flexible and adaptable to unit needs
