Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications such as Magnesium and Oxytocin to support safe deliveries
Collaborate with providers during C-sections by circulating for the baby
Support postpartum couplets with education, comfort, and recovery guidance
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed
Maintain accurate fetal monitoring using the OB Trace Vue system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
EFM certification preferred
Ability to pass required respirator fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Experience with antepartum and postpartum drip management
Comfort working independently in a rural setting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow systems
