Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, evening shifts, 36 hours per week (schedule may vary)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to women in the Labor, Delivery & Recovery unit and the Emergency Department
Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and patient management
Support emergency care within a women's health setting

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Rhode Island
Minimum of 2 years of LDR (Labor, Delivery & Recovery) experience
Experience in an Emergency Department or Women's Emergency Room setting preferred
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and NIH Stroke Certification
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to assist with patient lifting and transfers

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ANA Standards of Practice
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to work in both LDR and ED environments
