Location: Oxnard, California

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends as per schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery and postpartum patients
Circulate for cesarean sections in dedicated surgical suites
Monitor fetal heart rates using FetalLink and Cerner EMR
Float to postpartum or NICU to care for grower/feeder infants as needed
Collaborate with OB techs and charge nurses to ensure smooth unit operations
Assist with triage, deliveries, and patient intake

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in California
Minimum 2-3 years of recent L&D and postpartum nursing experience
Prior travel contract experience preferred
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced)
Stable certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in L&D nursing including high-risk deliveries
Proficiency with Cerner EMR and FetalLink fetal monitoring system
Ability to scrub in for C-sections and circulate
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
